Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?

The controller of your personal data is the CDTI, E.P.E., dependent on the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities of Spain, with address at Calle Cid, 4, 28001, Madrid; telephone (+34) 91 581 55 00; and email dpd@cdti.es.

Why are you receiving this personal data information?

This information is provided to you as a user of the CDTI events platform and interested in the Big Science Industry Forum Spain (BSIFS2025).

How and what personal data do we record on the CDTI events platform?

The CDTI records the personal data that you have provided to us, either through emails sent to the addresses or email boxes available on the platform, or through the forms in which CDTI, E.P.E. has been identified. as the person responsible for them or through the taking of images (photographs or videos) during the event.

The most frequent data collected through these channels are the following:

  • Identification data
  • National Identity Document
  • Employment data
  • Postal or electronic addresses and contact information
  • Browsing data
  • Images (photographs or videos)
  • Food intolerances
  • Data provided by the user's bank if payment of the Forum participation fee is made through bank transfer. In the case of using a credit card, payment is made through a secure external payment gateway and, therefore, no personal data is collected in the transaction.

What do we do with your personal data?

  • We inform you that we process your personal data for the following purposes:
  • Respond to your communication.
  • Respond to your request to participate in BSIFS 2025.
  • Include you and/or the company you belong to in the contact list for the communication of events and/or information of interest in the field of R&D&I.
  • Facilitate future relationships or manage the current relationship between you and the CDTI, Induciencia and/or INEUSTAR.
  • Manage the information provided in the various requests, as well as the documentation or information requested.
  • Maintain a history of relationships and communications.
  • Manage navigation data on the event platform.
  • Publish the images taken during the event in our marketing or promotional actions and media.

What legitimizes us to process your personal data?

The CDTI, E.P.E. CDTI is one of the financing agents of the state R&D&I system, and its legitimacy for the processing of personal data provided through its events platform derives from the exercise of the powers attributed to it by law as a public entity.

The optional or mandatory nature of the data requested will be expressly indicated in each data collection form.

You may withdraw your consent to this processing at any time, in which case the CDTI will understand that you do not wish to be included in the contact list or that the relationship or management of your communication continues. Your withdrawal of consent will not affect the legality of the processing carried out up to that point.

Will your personal data be communicated to third parties?

The CDTI, E.P.E. You may only disclose your personal data to entities that are co-organisers of the events or companies contracted to organise them or others that are legally required to do so, such as communication with state security forces and bodies, courts and tribunals, or other public bodies or entities that are legally authorised, as well as European bodies or institutions.

In the specific case of BSIFS 2025, your personal data will be shared with Ineustar (Spanish Association of the Science Industry), with registered office at Paseo Ubarburu 39, Office 308, ENERTIC Building - 20014 Donostia-San Sebastián (Gipuzkoa) and CIF G75024190, as well as with Induciencia (Spanish Technology and Innovation Platform for the Science Industry), both entities that are co-organisers of the Congress.

Likewise, your personal data is stored on servers owned by the company that developed the platform, Netberry Servicios de Internet S.L., with registered office at Calle María de Molina No. 54, Madrid. The CDTI has signed the corresponding confidentiality agreement with this company in accordance with the National Security Scheme and the General Data Protection Regulation.

Is there a Personal Data Protection Officer?

The CDTI, E.P.E., in compliance with its legal obligations, has appointed a collegiate body as Data Protection Officer to whom you can send any questions or concerns regarding the privacy and protection of your personal data, by writing to the CDTI, E.P.E.,Data Protection Officer at Calle Cid, 4, 28001 Madrid, or by sending an email to dpd@cdti.es, with the reference 'RGPD'.

What rights do you have in relation to your personal data?

You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether CDTI, E.P.E. processes your personal data or not, to access your personal data, that is, to know what data CDTI, E.P.E. processes, to request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data and to request its deletion when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

You can also exercise the right to limit processing in the cases determined by article 18 of the GDPR, or oppose it, preventing your data from being processed for certain purposes. You also have the right to file a complaint about the processing of your data with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

What security measures does CDTI, E.P.E. apply to your data?

The CDTI, E.P.E., in accordance with the provisions of its Information Security Policy, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016, Law (ES) 1/1982 on civil protection, the right to honor, personal and family privacy and one's own image and other European and national data protection regulations, will apply all appropriate legal, technical and organizational measures to protect the privacy of your data.
